Stress and Anxiety
There is a clear distinction between stress and anxiety. Some stress is normal and experienced by all at some point. A healthy amount of stress can even help us perform at our best during competitive situations! Anxiety is similar to stress, but differs in frequency and intensity. Anxiety is a clinical diagnosis and interferes with the person'a ability to function effectively. Be sure to talk to your pediatrician if you think you may suffer from anxiety.
